The Pokémon Jirachi Mythical Collection Box was released in 2016 as part of the special Mythical Pokémon Collection series celebrating the 20th anniversary of Pokémon. This English-language collection features the Wish Pokémon Jirachi and includes 2 Pokémon TCG: Generations booster packs, an exclusive full-art foil Jirachi Black Star Promo (XY112), and a matching Jirachi collector’s pin. Jirachi was the fourth Mythical Pokémon to receive its own box in this monthly anniversary series, following Mew, Celebi, and Manaphy.
The included Generations booster packs give this box extra collectible value these days. Generations was released specifically for Pokémon’s 20th Anniversary and did not have a traditional booster box, meaning the boosters were primarily available through special anniversary products. The expansion brings together Pokémon from different generations and also includes the beloved Radiant Collection, featuring colorful cards of Pikachu, Eevee, Sylveon, and others.
