The Pokémon Meloetta Mythical Collection Box was released in 2016 as part of the special Mythical Pokémon Collection series celebrating the 20th anniversary of Pokémon. This English-language collection features the Melody Pokémon Meloetta and includes 2 Pokémon TCG: Generations booster packs, an exclusive full-art foil Meloetta Black Star Promo (XY120), and a matching Meloetta collector’s pin. Meloetta marked the conclusion of the monthly Mythical Pokémon series, in which a different Mythical Pokémon received its own collection each month throughout the anniversary year.
For collectors, the two Generations booster packs are a key part of this box. Generations was released specifically for the 20th anniversary and did not receive a traditional booster box, meaning the packs were primarily available through special products such as the Mythical Collections. The expansion combines well-known Pokémon from various generations with the colorful Radiant Collection and includes popular cards featuring Charizard, Pikachu, Eevee, and Sylveon, among others.
