The Pokémon Shining Legends Marshadow Pin Collection is a compact collection from the Sun & Moon era that centers on the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow. This English-language box was released in 2017 as part of the special Shining Legends product line and contains 3 Pokémon TCG: Shining Legends booster packs, an exclusive foil Marshadow Black Star Promo (SM85), and a matching Marshadow collector’s pin. It also includes a code card for Pokémon TCG Online. Since Shining Legends was not released in traditional booster boxes, products like this Pin Collection were an important way to open boosters from the expansion.
For collectors, this set combines an exclusive Marshadow promo with three booster packs from one of the better-known special sets of the Sun & Moon era. Shining Legends is best known for the return of the Shining Pokémon, including Shining Mew, Shining Rayquaza, Shining Jirachi, Shining Genesect, and Shining Volcanion. The special Mewtwo-GX Secret Rare, which depicts Mewtwo in a laboratory tank, is also one of the expansion’s most famous chase cards.
