The Pokémon Stormfront Gyarados Theme Deck, officially released under the name Raging Sea, was released on November 5, 2008, as part of the Diamond & Pearl—Stormfront expansion. This pre-constructed deck consists of 60 cards and primarily features Water- and Grass-type Pokémon. The standout card is Gyarados 19/100, which was included in Raging Sea as an exclusive Cosmos Holofoil version. In addition, the decklist includes Magikarp, Sceptile, Grovyle, Treecko, Abomasnow, Snover, Bibarel, and Finneon, among others. Trainer cards, along with 15 Water Energy and 9 Grass Energy cards, round out the deck.
Together with the Tyranitar-based Dark Rampage, Raging Sea formed the pair of Theme Decks from Stormfront, the latest expansion in the Diamond & Pearl Series. The product originally included damage counters, a Pokémon coin, a rulebook, a card list, and a playmat, among other items. For collectors, the prominent Gyarados packaging—combined with the deck-exclusive holographic card—is particularly appealing.
