Pokémon EX Power Keepers Dusclops Theme Deck

The Pokémon EX Power Keepers Dusclops Theme Deck, officially released under the name Mind Game, came out on February 14, 2007, as part of the EX Power Keepers series. This pre-constructed deck contains 60 cards and focuses primarily on Psychic- and Fighting-type Pokémon. The standout card is Dusclops 14/108, a special Cosmos Holo version of which was available exclusively through this Theme Deck. Pokémon such as Sableye also play an important role, while Phoebe’s Stadium card perfectly complements Dusclops’s Mysterious Light attack. As a result, the deck has a clear connection to Phoebe, the Ghost-type Elite Four Trainer from the Hoenn region.

In addition to the 60 cards, the original Mind Game Theme Deck came with damage counters, a coin, a rulebook, a card list, and a single-player playmat. For collectors, this release is particularly interesting because of its place in Pokémon history: EX Power Keepers was the sixteenth and final main set of the original EX Series, before the Diamond & Pearl era began. The prominent Dusclops artwork on the packaging, the deck-exclusive holographic card, and its place at the end of the EX era make a sealed copy a distinctive collectible for fans of vintage Pokémon, Hoenn, and EX Series Theme Decks.
